The Guide for Fly-Fishing in Austria, Slovenia and Beyond

Fly-Fishing Austria and Slovenia was created to provide helpful information about the many local opportunities for fly-fishing in the area. The app allows users to search for fly-fishing waters by location, price or name, and provides information about license vendors and lodging options. You can also mark your favorite waters so you remember to come back, as well as add your catches to a map under any specific water. The guide is now updated with information for more than 235 waters for Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic and Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Fly-fISHING waters and MAP

Within the app, you will find descriptions and locations for 235 rivers and lakes in Austria, Slovenia and the surrounding region. Almost all rivers include GPS coordinates for the fishing boundaries so that you can easily to navigate to and around the waters - as well as create driving directions. As most rivers in Austria and Europe are divided by ownership, it is important to know the boundaries for each license. You can search the map by location, proximity, water name or license cost to help you locate the best fly-fishing spot. 

LICENSE AND LODGING INFORMATION

Our guide provides the costs of the various water licenses, as well as the locations of license vendors. Where applicable, discounts for members of local fishing organizations are indicated. You will also find information about nearby lodging options, and can use the built in map function to locate driving directions. We have searched for the best lodging options for each water, including those that are family friendly and can arrange for alternative activities.

You are also able to track your catches and mark your favorite spots by adding a catch to the map. This feature allows you to remember specific locations on the water and keep a record of your catches. You can also mark your favorite waters so you remember to return or recommend them to others.
